Stephanie joined Lightfoots in 2018 having completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Master of Laws qualifications at BPP University. She was offered her training contract in 2021 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2022.
Following her qualification, Stephanie joined our commercial litigation team and covers a broad range of lender litigation where she works closely with lenders predominantly working with (but not limited to) receivership matters, title rectifications, defended possession claims, debt recovery and companies house applications.
Before embarking on her training as a Trainee Solicitor, Stephanie spent several years in our lender finance department where she gained invaluable experience dealing with both commercial and residential transactions acting for both lenders and borrowers. Whilst on her Training Contract and during the first couple of years of her qualification, in addition to commercial litigation, Stephanie also worked alongside Chris Biggs in selling properties in receivership. These two areas have given Stephanie invaluable experience and the skills and knowledge acquired from the areas allow her to consider wider aspects when advising her lender clients.
