We are proud to announce we have been recognised as a Plastic Free Champion as part of the Thame Sustainability Award, a great commitment to both our community and our planet.
Plastic Free Communities is a nationwide people-powered movement dedicated to breaking free from single-use plastic and stopping its production for good. Shaped and run by Surfers Against Sewage, it unites and fires up individuals, businesses and local organisations to fight back against plastic pollution, with clear actions and steps to make a difference.
Today, one in every ten barrels of oil is used to create new plastic. 38.5 million plastic bottles are bought every day in the UK, with the nation producing 5 million tonnes of plastic waste each year.
The Plastic Free Champion status is awarded to organisations who demonstrate a genuine, measurable commitment to reducing single-use plastic in their day-to-day operations. We’re honoured to join a growing movement of businesses choosing the planet over convenience. Being a Plastic Free Champion isn’t just a badge, it’s a promise, and we will continue to look for new ways to reduce our environmental impact across all six of our offices.
