Rebecca is a solicitor based at the Lightfoots High Street office and is part of the family law team recognised by the Legal 500.
After obtaining her LLB at the University of Lincoln and a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice at the University of Sheffield, Rebecca gained a wide range of experience in civil litigation, housing and property matters, and public children proceedings.
Following her qualification as a Solicitor on 1st January 2022, Rebecca specialised in family law and gained further experience at another Oxfordshire firm, before she joined the Lightfoots family team in January 2023.
Rebecca has considerable experience in proceedings under the Children Act and has been involved with matters concerning parental alienation, allegations of domestic abuse, the appointment of a guardian, and applications to remove children from the jurisdiction. She also provides advice concerning divorce, cohabitation, enforcement, and consented or contested financial matters; Rebecca also has experience dealing with assets valued over £1 million and with international property.
Her clients recognise that Rebecca uses a personal and friendly approach towards complex and sensitive issues, whilst providing practical and pragmatic advice to resolve matters.
Rebecca is also a committee member of the BB&O Law Society.
