Lightfoots Solicitors is proud to have helped fund a major transformation of the dressing room at the Players Theatre, run by Thame Players. We have a particularly special connection with the group, as our own Jack Lightfoot, along with two other returning WW2 prisoners of war, developed Thame Players into the regular performing group it is today.
As a firm that’s been at the heart of Thame for over 170 years, we were delighted to support the refurbishment of this vital space at the only dedicated theatre in our town. The new dressing room now provides a welcoming, comfortable environment for actors, visiting performers, and community groups who use this wonderful facility.
The feedback from performers has been fantastic, the space is now more efficient, relaxing, and conducive to great performances. We were particularly touched to see our contribution recognised in a plaque above the dressing room door. Well done to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this transformation happen!
We’re also pleased to announce that we’ve just sponsored the group for another year, continuing our commitment to supporting the arts and community in Thame.
