Held on the August Bank Holiday weekend at the Towersey Playing Fields, the Fringe is a highlight in the local calendar, offering something for everyone.
The weekend kicks off with a Comedy Evening on Saturday, 24th August 2024. This ticketed event for adults only begins at 5pm when the site opens for bar and food stalls. The comedy tent, featuring top-class comedians, will run from 7pm to 11pm, promising an evening of laughter and entertainment.
The fun continues on Sunday, 25th August 2024, with a full day of Bands, Beer, and Family Fun. The site opens at 1pm with bars, food stalls, and activities for all ages. Live music kicks off at 2pm and will continue until 11pm, offering a fantastic line-up of performances to enjoy throughout the day.
The Towersey Fringe is organised entirely by a passionate group of Towersey villagers who volunteer their time and resources to ensure its success. The funds raised from this event will go towards the future development of the Towersey Playing Fields, benefiting not just the village but the wider community as well.
