Joe joined Lightfoots as a trainee solicitor in 1999, qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and he became a Partner in 2003. He has considerable experience in domestic conveyancing and complex property matters, undertaking high value residential transactions, all forms of commercial property work and general business law. Joe acts for both landlords and tenants in leasehold transactions including residential lease extensions and the grant of commercial leases. He also has experience in company asset and share sales and purchases.
He advises on general commercial matters and acts for a number of property developers in site acquisitions, their financing requirements and the subsequent plot sales.
Joe previously managed several teams that supported the firm’s lender services namely the repossession sales between 2008 and 2012 and then more recently created, built and managed the bridging and specialist finance property team.
Whilst still heavily involved with the departments that act for the firm’s mortgage lender clients he now focuses more closely on transactions with a commercial property bias alongside managing the practice.
