A Will not only deals with who should receive a person’s money when they die, but also deals with the appointment of guardians for children. The Solicitor must also consider tax rules and allowances to make sure as much of a person’s estate as possible passes to their chosen beneficiaries.
A Probate Solicitor must deal sensitively with the family and friends of a person who has died. They must discover what assets the person had and arrange for these assets to be transferred to beneficiaries or converted to money.
